Imagine being thrown back in
time. A period of time you've
only read about in books

Excerpt
Simultaneous thoughts ran through the misplaced couple’s minds. They would be staying there in a small cold cabin all night with strange-‐‑looking soldiers they didn’t know. But this was their only hope, so they would have to put up with whatever stood
before them on the cold rainy night ahead in a place they didn’t
choose to be.

An interresting tale about a couple who walks outside their cottage to find nothing but wilderness in the catskill mountains, Carl and Beth go further into the overgroen land that has now taken the place of the wonderful park they so loved. Jennifer Robbins leaves you in suspense to how this young couple will ever get back to the presenttime but with her great imagination she pulls it off!

When I started reading OUTSIDE THAT DOOR, I didn't intend on completing it that day --but I couldn't put it down. I had to know what was going to happen next. I felt connected to Carl and Beth, finding Jennifer's characterizations to be realistic. She took a difficult and unbelieavable scene and made it believable. I felt I was alongside the characters throughout the book. If there is one thing I'd change, I would expand the last chapter. I'd like to know more --then again, there may be room for a sequel???? Excellent job all around.
