A Must Read
This young adult novel by my favorite mystery writer (Murder by Month series) is a great read. It has mystery, mayhem, monsters, magic, and literary allusions galore. It kept my interest from the first page. I love the characters and the premise of moving through classical novel settings as the young protagonists try to solve the riddle of their ancestry.
I can't wait for the next book in this series.

Classic Storyline, Incredible Twist
I'm a 14-year-old girl who loved The Hunger Games, The Help, Ship Breaker, and Wicked. This book is packed with excitement and mystery, and I really liked the descriptions that made me feel like I was actually in the book. If I were to describe this book in one word, it would be "awe-inspiring." Is that one word? Anyhow, the book creates an unbelievable new world and epic adventures that I want to go back to.
