The author describes flying on the Atlantic Missile Range in support of ICBM and missile testing during the cold war, and support of NASA space programs. Author was involved in a test of Gemini space suits. Near the end of the test the author and another pilot experienced a severe 100% oxygen fire which nearly took their lives. The author made some recommendations to NASA. Five years later the Apollo One Capsule experienceda similar fire in which three astronauts: Grissom, White and Chaffee lost their lives. The author asks if they might have survived if NASA had paid attention to his recommendations to a review Board.
