"The Place" is an adventure mystery/romance novel with most of the action taking place in the Canadian city Sudbury, North Shore First Nation Reserves and neighboring communities. When a First Nation woman is murdered youth crisis worker April Kenewabi and newspaper reporter Jason Langman set out to prove the killing was the work of a serial murderer targeting native women. The killings take place on Native Reserves and northern cities from the Arctic Circle to the shores of the Great Lakes. In the exciting climax April and her teen daughter are both lured to 'The Place' designed by the killer for murdering victims. April' s police officer tracks the killer to his lair.
