If My Sand Castle Drowns,
Can I Live With You…?
spoken with the lisp of a child…
one of those universal truths
we sometimes miss...
lost in emptiness,
building ephemeral dreams
without concrete foundations
drifting unfettered,
but unsecured—
and yes, there is a difference…
a life alone is a life
a life entwined is a miracle
to me
I speak for myself
and not for you
for no one has the right
to dictate your reality
but if my castle wanders
too close to the sea
unnoticed
