Arbalest is a well-written, page-turner of an adventure. The details and imagery really bring this story to life.
Throughout the novel there are many thrilling scenes of action, adventure, magic and heartbreak.
The cast of characters, Jerrod, the warrior Arial, sorceress Ailie and evil King Luther are interesting and well-developed.
I highly recommend this tale because the quest, the characters, conflict, setbacks and triumphs are all woven into an age-old tale that is thrilling from start to finish.

Not my typical genre of fiction but it was recommended by someone and I gave it a try. I am glad I did. It was interesting and each time I put it down, I wanted to go back to read more soon.
