Marion Bastien: Poésies & photographies de la Rome divine

J’ai découvert ce très beau livre d’art et de poèmes sur un salon. "Très beau livre" n’est pas une formule à l’emporte-pièce, encore moins parce que je connais ces quatre auteurs pour les avoir lu dans leurs livres ou poèmes respectifs, mais nous disposons là d’un remarquable travail de mariage entre photographies de la ville éternelle prises sur l’instant des voyages d’Albert Russo et des textes de chacun des écrivains de ce livre : en italien pour A. Russo, en français et anglais pour E. Tessier, en français pour D. Michelson et en anglais pour S. Doubinsky. L’idée est excellente : ouvrir au monde les lecteurs, au monde poétique tantôt intime, tantôt politique, toujours universel, par un parcours initiatique dans Rome, ses ruelles, ses palais et sa chaleur même en hiver.

Les textes d’Eric Tessier sont une offrande à la température humaine, les sentiments et les actions que tous nous espérons. Ceux d’Albert Russo sont des empreintes sur le sol des amitiés, des inscriptions humides de fraternité sur les murs antiques. Ceux de Daniel Michelson sont presque des épectases rythmées au son des torpeurs historiques, coulant par là un amour nu livré aux ondes. Enfin, les textes de Doubinsky sont des haïkus enchevêtrés aux doigts de sa renommée danoise.
Les photographies, certes livrées telles des invites au voyage, sont surtout les choix concertés de chacun, collant aux textes d’une façon symbolique. Ou sous la vision étonnée du sens de la marche en piétons dans l’existence, avec ses rencontres et ses chagrins, mais aussi le fol espoir de rompre l’irrédentisme infertile qui empêche de rassembler, unir les hommes d’un continent à l’autre, d’un astre terrestre à l’autre. Gageons que ce livre d’amitié saura trouver un lectorat ouvert au métissage des langues et des hommes, des cultures et des idées du beau et de la fraternité en poésie, en art.
