Compiled and Edite by Ayin Adams', the Clearview Christian Girls' School grades 6th through 9th is genuine and mature, and promising for young poets their age. Taught by poet/playwright author Ayin Adams in Maui.
I had the distinct pleasure of getting to know and love these voices. Working and teaching them in their true form of expression through the written and spoken word afforded me the opportunity to return back to my youth as a poet, as a young girl, maturing and growing. I grew fond of these students as if they were my own daughters, and to help them shape their own true voice. These young women poets touches your heart by their sweetness but also by the "dark side of life" they are expressing. Voices worthwhile to be heard.

Are they young women or girls? Both, alternatively--by turns fresh and furious, innocent and wicked, silly and deeply searching. The Clearview Christian Girls' School students are writing at the age of peak originality. Coming out of such an extraordinary school, their writing--whether it's supremely goofy or profoundly emotional-speaks in the authentic voice of adolescent womanhood.
