CHAPTER 1
NO GREATER LOVE
THE ULTIMATE SACRIFICE AND DIVINE LOVE
"Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends." John 5:13, KJV
GRATITUDE SHOULD BE A constant in our lives, yet we often fall into the "self-syndrome." As we reflect on God's infinite love for us, may this message, inspired by the Holy Spirit, serve as a reminder of that love.
We are fearfully and wonderfully made, dearly loved, and precious in the Lord's eyes. The psalmist captures this beautifully in Psalm 139:14 (KJV): "I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvelous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well." God’s love is steadfast and enduring. 1 John 3:1 (KJV) proclaims, "Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God."
Let us appreciate the vastness of God's love. It transcends our understanding and meets us where we are, willing to sacrifice everything for our redemption. John 3:16 (KJV) affirms, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

God's Steadfast and Unconditional Love
In moments of joy and times of trial, God's constant and unwavering love is our anchor. Deuteronomy 31:6 (KJV) reassures us, "Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee."
God’s love is not conditional or fleeting. It is steadfast and eternal.
Psalm 136 (KJV) repeats the phrase, "For his mercy endureth for ever," underscoring the enduring nature of His love and mercy. Each verse recounts God's mighty works and ends with a reminder of His everlasting love, encouraging us to reflect on the countless ways He has proven His faithfulness throughout history and in our lives.
