This is an honest and frank account of numerous unexplained events in my life. Sprinkled with a few other tales related to me by my friends and family. The most frightening aspect of this book is that it is all real. I am very interested in sharing these things in the hopes of finding people with similar experiences. The worst and loneliest thing sometimes is feeling like I must be going mad. I am of sound mind I assure you and would not show disdain to anyone who wanted to contact me to discuss anything written here. If you just find it helps because to know you are not crazy then let me know, at least then I will know I am not crazy too.

The first real memory I have of a paranormal event happened in a cemetery. We had not long since buried my mothers stepfather. I was about ten years old. We had weeded out the plot, put some flowers in the vase, we were taking the weeds and stones we had gathered and had been putting them in the bin at the end of the aisle he was on. I used to wear a small silver ring, one he had given me in life, I looked down and it was gone. I turned and started to look on the ground and I heard an immense sound. It was a long note and it sounded like it was being sung by many voices. It was a long 'AHHHHHHHHHH' sound. I turned to look at my mum, she wasn't looking around, she was just packing up the tools we had come with and getting ready for us to go. It went on for a few seconds, it filled the air, I turned in both directions expecting to see a choir or at least a group of people singing together. There was nothing. I felt winded!
