The lover’s Diary is written of two lover’s writing in a journal, it’s a group of short stories depicting their lives They describe events that happen through out the relationship. The names of the characters are James and Dahlia but I have written it so that people could relate to the story line and place themselves in the situation as it develops. Their love and sexuality are directly tied in. her fears of losing him are strong but she can’t deny she loves him, he on the other hand is willing to spend the time and effort to prove that he will always be there. I also wanted to show that love and sexuality are directly tied and that expression sexually can be more intensified if there is a long standing loving bond and communication. The story line is directly related to my personal relationship and my feelings, the entry’s in the lover’s journal come directly from my life and I hope it can be related to by others.
Time Stands Still
Time, it seems like there is so much of it in the world but so little of it when it comes to us. It slows and drags on until it seems that every second is an hour when we are apart, then it seems as if it speeds towards the light of day when we are together. But I how wait for those times with anticipation and excitement, like I am now. I lay in bed waiting for you hoping that you get here soon. I have the candles lit and wine opened for our night together. There are times when I get so scared of your intensity and your love, scared of losing you. But you are always patient, soothing my fear even when I let it sabotage my faith in you. When I get angry and take no consideration of your feelings, not even letting you explain the reason why, I accuse you of not considering my feelings of not caring for me as much as you say. Instead of raging at me you calm me, waiting out the storm. Then making me smile at your boyish pouting for being mean to you, I feel my anger dissipate and it’s replaced by guilt for blowing anger your way when there is no need in my world, in my perfect world time would stand still for us.
The knock comes to the door, firm and bold, “There you are” I think to myself with a smile on my lips, I roll off the bed and hurry to open the door. You walk in with your usual air of confidence and my hand automatically goes to you face, its something I do every time I see you. You lean in for a kiss and our lips meet for a quiet hello, when our lips part there is a smile on your face.
“You know you missed me” you say, that cocky grin fixed firmly on your face.
“And you didn’t miss me?” I retort, my hands going to my hip and taking the defensive stance. I’m really kidding but sometimes he can’t tell so he throws his hands around me in a big bear hug squeeze to reassure me.
“I missed you most of all Scarecrow” he said quoting a line from the Wizard of Oz.
“So now I don’t have a brain?” I ask. We look at each other and end up laughing uproariously. The humor of the conversation hits both of us. We have so much in common and where some would turn this into an argument, we see it as teasing and fun. He slides his hand around my neck again and pulls me into a long passionate kiss. His taste is something I can never forget and when our tongues meet and mate I can feel my arousal begin like liquid warmth in my belly. “Lets get some wine” I say in a breathless voice I move away to go pour us two glasses of Merlot, a minute or two more of us kissing and touching and I know where it will lead, I laugh to myself knowing how much he clouds my senses and how I am hooked on him. I am wearing a low cut dress in crushed velvet and in my favorite color, it molds and curves to me and I feel his eyes watching me as I bend over to give him his glass. Its not his favorite drink, I know it but he takes a couple of sips anyway, I smile and reach behind the chair to grab something, my hands comes up with an ice cold beer. He laughs out loud and grabs me for another hard kiss on the lips; it pays to know my man’s tastes.
