“So the Jets won the Super Bowl? How cool!” She exclaimed.
Julian looked at her in shock. “Simone, the Jets were no where near the Super bowl.”
“I was busy painting, how would I know?”
“You’ve been painting since last September? He asked. ‘Simone I am amazed you remember the date and year.”
“I find there are better things to watch on TV when I do have the time.” Simone said primly.
“Name one thing you have watched lately? He asked.
“Uh….Spongebob Squarepants yesterday afternoon!” she exclaimed with a big smile.
Julian laughed out loud. ‘Oh that is such enlightening viewing on your part, a yellow sponge that wears shorts.”
“Hey he is funny as heck!”
Julian put his cup on the table and reached over pulling her into his embrace. “You crack me up Simone.”
Simone hugged him back, wrapping her arms around his broad back. He pulled back and looked into her eyes with a smile his face that slowly faded. Simone felt the air around them change his eyes seem to look straight into her. Simone felt a flutter in her belly something she had not felt in a long time. Before she could stop him Julian leaned in and kissed her. Simone made a muffled sound was it in protest or pleasure she could not tell and her eyes fluttered close. His lips were warm against hers and his taste was intoxicating. Simone felt him coax her lips open with his tongue before slipping his inside her mouth. Her arms wrapped around his neck as the kiss heated up with passion that was untapped for along time. She molded her body to his and he quickly pulled her onto his lap. Her fingers sunk into his thick hair and Julian made a rumbling sound that came from his chest. Simone felt it vibrate through her and she kissed him back with intensity. Julian’s hand slid up her ribcage and cupped her small breasts through her tight shirt. She pushed herself more firmly into his hands wanting to feel his touch on her skin instead of though the material of her clothes The sensations of pleasure shot straight through her and Simone wanted to feel more. She had not been kissed like this in a long time, not since Matthew.
With the thought of Matthew her eyes flew open and she pushed Julian away. “Stop! Why did you do that?”
