David Young, a classical musician and composer, was honored to be asked to perform before the heads of state at the 1987 Venice Economic Summit. But soon, along with his doctor wife, Allison, he is plunged into a conspiracy to change the course of the Cold War.
The conspiracy, which had its origins seventeen years before in a horrible mind control experiment in Hanoi, seems to center around David's friend Richard, head of security for the summit. Not only is the fate of the world at stake, but the life and sanity of David's friend.
