The story shed light on how child's play can reveal valuable lessons about life.  Unknowingly, Trip takes us through a three-step process. 

     1.  He considered the current situation.  

     2. He decided what he wanted instead.

     3.  He took action by jumping into his Papaw's lap.

     After assessing the problem, Trip found safety by jumping into Papaw's lap.  To the spiritual individual, the story is reflective of finding safety in the arms of the Father.
