While my name may have you conjuring up an image of a large, furry creature with bad hygiene, roaming in the wilderness or digging through someone’s trashcan or picnic basket, that is not the case. I am a 15-inch, full-blooded beagle. I would give you my weight; however, I am a female and…a lady would never divulge such an intimate detail as that. Let me simply state for the record: I am a canine babe, not a bear. I have long advocated that we canines should impose a naming convention of some sort on the human race—a guideline, if you will, for humans to name their best friends.
