Shiloh is a small chestnut Arabian horse, owned by the author, whose specialty HAD been Endurance and Competitive Trail Riding. Now, he has been entered in a horse show.
Written from Shiloh’s perspective, first he gets accustomed to training in an arena in both English and Western riding tack, then it’s show time.
The training he goes through, along with his experience at the show, will aid and inform young riders how to prepare and compete in a horse show.

A Charming Book for Old and Young
Upon receiving this book, I immediately sat down to read it and I wasn't disappointed. This charming book, much to my personal delight, tells the story from the "horse's perspective." The reader immediately becomes one with the horse(s) as the tale unfolds to illustrate in a rather simplistic way, how the beautiful creature(s) think, live and survive from the animals point of view. Having always been an animal lover myself, I was delighted to read of the love that others have for these wonderful, intelligent creatures that have walked by the side of mankind since the beginning of time. As a mature reader, I think that this book is appropriate for all ages because it teaches all humans the way to interact with creatures other than the "human" race. A lovely, loving story written by a woman who knows how to share and how to care. Would I purchase this book and recommend it to others? ABSOLUTELY
