No one else should
For only you know the tune
Only you has the hands for it
Play your own drum
Don't worry
How well others play
Often, we are so busy
Listening to others
Play their drums
That we have no time
To play our own
Shall the farmer
Use the surgeon scalpel
Shall the baker
Bake in the tailor's machine
Shall the nurse
Inject with the teacher's chalk
Play no other drum but yours
And play it well
And in time
We shall all dance
To your drum
