In a system every one should get maximum benefits out of governance, that is every individual’s right. This should be the philosophy of governance. The functioning of the government should resemble that of a human body, a total co-ordination of every selfless organ. Philosophy and empty promises will not fill an empty stomach, but following through on the promises of satisfaction shall be a fulfilling food. False propaganda will not bear fruit, but ploughed land and hard work will garnish enough crops to feed the masses. Rights cannot be harvested unless the sense of duty is dutifully invested. Unless the sense of responsibility is honored the holiness of right is an empty promise. In the place it is honored there is prosperity, where there is not, it is a barren land.

Starts with a Principle that defines success The Philosophy of Governance, a non-fiction début of V Bright Saigal a novice writer takes the readers through various aspects of Administration and Management of State and its organs. This is a promising approach, though there are letterings of principles and weak arguments on Judiciary and Spying in different chapters. Such books are plenty in the market, yet, The Philosophy of Governance stands out as many arguments and advises are reflection of original after the keen observation of contemporary social problems. The book offers many promising solutions; besides some flimsy suggestions. The introduction is stimulating and provocative, asking the individuals to wake up. Such provoking dialogues can be found in Marxian theory and Athenian political thoughts. The Philosophy of Governance has some elements of Biblical instructions and much innovative approach to offer justice in Management and Administration.
The writer seems to be in hurry to finish the book that witnesses much weakness in the last few chapters.

With reference to deprivation and socio-political problems “The Philosophy of Governance” tries to show how to motivate the deprived and the readers alike. This is a call for social change. The book is more of a constitution for a small Republic rather than a major Federal set up. Many arguments and instructions are more of a command after the Ten Commandments. In fact, the number of Commandments is more than ten. A sound judgment of complexity of political cultures the theme and the content it lacks. Still, there are many chapters on election and political system, especially economic set up has more of socialist flavor than supporting capitalist economy. May be one of the weakness noticed. By and large, a good attempt by a novice writer with an innovative, yet original approach, insight and opinion on how to clean up the corrupted political system and a clear-cut justification for a welfare society. A new dimension on Economic and Management has been established through this theoretical approach. A reference book of good quality with sumptuous thought, endowed with new out look and principles to establish a welfare society.
