Amanda has spent much of her life struggling with the gift of being able to speak to spirits. After managing to put her talent to work for her in the form of writing articles for paranormal magazines across the country, she is hired by Anthony, a college professor who has just bought a Victorian brownstone in Boston. Sparks fly between the two, and Amanda agrees to help Anthony get to the bottom of the strange presence that he and his mother are detecting in their new home, but at what cost? Amanda could hear her Aunt Gwen speaking as she opened her eyes a crack. As her vision began to clear, Amanda noticed that she was on a very large feather bed. Anthony, Margaret and Gwen were crowded around her, looking very concerned.
