How does the world appear in which a young man lives hard outside the conventions?
The protagonist opens a window upon this universe through the story of a particular day of his life, rich in intriguing situations in wich appear action, sex, gambling and hunour.
I go in through the main door, the entrance is full of ornamental plants – the place is luxurious, our clients are for the most well-to-do ones that love appearances, there’s even a red runner on the floor that climbs up a marble staircase, the floor is wax polished, shiny as a mirror - , I call the lift, I wait for several moments, then I press the button for the third floor.
On the door to the entrance there is a beautiful brass plaque with the name of the agency in capital letters, the inside has the appearance of a living room with a soft olive green carpet and designer furniture, diffused lighting, it could seem like a luxurious brothel in the eye of some inexperienced person who doesn’t know the existence of this profession, but it’s not like that, naturally because the escort, male or female, is a well-educated person, polite, good-looking, whose job it is to pleasingly entertain certain people who feel alone and who can permit themselves the luxury of suitably paying such a suitable companion.
There are no desks or filing systems or office machines because there’s nothing to write, to catalogue or to archive. The contacts are confidential, a discreet telephone call, a well-mannered reply, an appointment in a certain place, a meeting between people who know how to live. The payment is made to the agency that sees to paying the escort according to certain tariffs.
Mr. Rossi ( but maybe his name is made-up) sees to receiving clients’requests, to examining them carefully –it’s necessary to give every client a suitable escort, which is not so easy – and to satisfy them. It’s he that receives the money paid by the client and he who pays for our services. ..............................................................................
