Enduring life's daily problems and making appropriate decisions are often extremely difficult. Never before have we had access to such a myriad of books, media presentations, and lectures instructing us how to conduct our lives. Abundant resources are available to advise us about becoming happy, healthy, wealthy, wise, content, and fulfilled. Yet, on every hand, we observe unacceptable levels of lying, cheating, stealing, jealousy, slandering, cursing, infidelity, and various other evil acts. Rather than noting a decrease in these wicked exploits, multiplication of sinful deeds appears to be the norm in our day.
What can we do to curb the corruption that is rampant everywhere? Are there new untried methods for restoring righteousness in our lives and nation? Increased education, improved financial status, enhanced psychological training, and removing God from many venues have been largely ineffective in solving our problems. Could it be that we have been looking in the wrong places to resolve these ongoing crises?
