The CPA publishes anthologies on a regular basis but this is the first time that we have published an anthology with an open submission policy to all Canadians. This open concept has made for an exciting anthology of coast to coast Canadian poetry. We are proud of this fine contribution to the Canadian literary scene.

Sense
very early in the morning
before the sun is even dancing
on the horizon and the night
has me enfolded in its embrace
she comes creeping
my senses though somewhat
dampened by tender romantic
flights of fancy flick on like a
switch pushing me into
mother mode
although my eyes are open
mymind is still furry and soft
with sleep the temptations of
soft covers and a mate
all too willing to regale me with
nighttime harmonics
pull at me gently...
