I became cheerful, by her tranquil brightness, her fascinating bonhomie, her pleasant welcome, and all of it, coming from the mouth of a charming woman to make me comfortable after my hard travel to Dewsbury. Then I vowed to make a good working relation with her in coming days.

She came back with a tea trolley to refresh me and

Say that you have an admission call at Leeds University and need accommodation badly, as none was available in the city, and you need a countryside residence for you study immediately. Do not name me and quote the reference of a Pakistani. I hope you are intelligent enough to deal with it. Take two hundred pounds from me. You can pay me later because it is a loan for your rentals.”
I took her order seriously, warding off my low- spirited prospect of my separation from her awhile, since I was smitten by her charm at first sight, and I replied her, as if not surprised by the suddenness of her proposal,
“I do go. It is your order. Thank you indeed, Anna.”
