Rounding the corner in front of the bank, Abby observed Wil standing on the sidewalk and talking with a
tall blonde. He had one hand on the woman’s arm, and they were both smiling. When he spotted Abby, he waved
and then dropped his arm, shoving both hands into his pockets. He nodded to the woman, who turned and walked
away.
“What brings you by?” He kissed Abby’s cheek.
“I did some shopping and had lunch with Meg. I just thought I’d stop by on my way back to the car.” Her eyes
shifted from Wil to the woman, now nearly out of sight. “Who’s that?”

is finished. I started off reading a few chapters before doing housework, and couldn’t put it down. My housework was set aside. I just had to the get to the end, to find out what happened.
Ms. Rettstatt’s book is about a woman’s courage and the strength to begin again. It is a tale of hope, change and happiness. You will cry, you will laugh but most of all
you will be rooting for Abby as she forges on ahead to ‘restore herself.’
