Introduction to what one can achieve in their life through my experiences
The Journey through the Fog
Prologue
When I contemplated writing anything, I thought who am I to have something that was worth reading. I like writing because it offers a certain freedom without paying a higher price to someone or something. Freedom to be whatever is on the inside ourselves without judgment, prejudices, pity and countless of other things that we experience in the real world. Our world always has a mind of its own, which seems to suck us in like a vacuum with no way out. Nothing in life is free, we all know it, but it doesn’t stop us from trying to get things for free. Writing at first seems to be ordinary but complex, all at the same time, we all wonder about how a person writes the words we read in books. The irony for me is I always thought about authors but never thought I would be one. As I grew as a person and as an adult, after my mother died I realized what gifts were given to me.
It was at this time in my life that I discovered a clarity that brought me complete solace, I felt like a ship that was lost at sea and out of nowhere the fog cleared to show me that the ship has arrived at it’s destination. I did some writing before this but is was always sporadic and not really having any clear direction. By muddling through my journey in the fog I felt that maybe other people were feeling the same way as I was. Experiencing life for the way it is offers a much bigger reward in enriching our lives that we cannot even begin to imagine. I used to think to myself how could I help others? What can I do? In this 21st century, where it seems like everything has been done to help others, someone like me says, “no that is not true.” Not all of us have been helped. My mother and I used to talk about writing and wanting to make a difference, though she did not get her chance, I decided to pursue her vision for her, in her honor. With this book, I offer my soul as a gift to others who are looking to experience life in it’s entirety and to help them through their own fog and see a new level to life. This piece of writing resembles a reality above what I ever thought I would reach when I was young. I consider myself just like anyone else you will see walking down the street all except for one thing; my mind never seems to sleep.
