Brian was glowing in contentment when he entered the bathroom and saw Nichelle sitting on the edge of the tub in her robe. He knew that she had a number of things on her mind so he undressed quickly and stood in front of her, ready to help her disrobe. Brian kept his eyes on her as he loosened the sash that hid her luscious frame from him. Her peering gaze let him know that she needed what she missed the most-intimacy. Brian kissed her passionately as his hands caressed the sides of her neck and shoulders until her robe feathered down to the floor. He pulled away from her imprisoning kisses long enough to step into the tub and guide her in as well. Brian knew very well that it wasn’t about making love; it was something magical between them that faded away, but he planned to bring back into existence. The bathtub was a meeting ground for them. It was the place where conversations could run as deep as needed. They’ve shared quite a few heated debates in the tub, but it never escalated into a shouting match.
