A brilliant engineer, deeply wronged by the injustices of society takes up arms with the intent of destroying all government.
Logan Dellheim, an engineer in a modern electronics company suffers a terrible loss, and is hounded by bureaucratic power seekers in the justice system. In response, he plans a long, careful campaign to completely destroy government,and substitute a new system. The death and destruction he creates in this earns him the title of "the madman".
The story of his life is told by a young student coming of age 150 years after the madman's death, reflecting on how he changed the society in which she lives.
