The story of a remarkable young boy who coped with a rare bone cancer by forming his own goodwill project. Jarrett Mynear has given away thousands of toys to sick children; an endeavor that led to national television appearances, prestigious awards and a chance meeting with the President of the United States.
Jarrett Mynear was diagnosed with Ewing's sarcoma, a rare bone cancer, at age two. The disease robbed him of his leg and a normal childhood, but it didn't steal his spirit.
After numerous rediagnoses, the young man decided to get busy with living life to the fullest. He devised a plan to ask businesses to donate toys to other sick children. His spirit and enthusiasm proved too hard to resist, as donations came pouring in.
Jarrett appeared four times on The Rosie O'Donnell Show and once with Oprah Winfrey. The response inspired the launch of similar projects at scores of hospitals around the country.
"The Joy Cart" details how this pint-sized Santa Claus delivered more than toys; he delivered happiness and hope.

I have got to read it. I love inspirational stories about real people. Although I bet I am going to need a box of tissues.
You are so lucky to capture the life of an Angel within your book! Everyone should read this as it will help keep our focus on what is really important in life! Incredible!!!

Marvin. I read your entire book in one day. You took a very sad situation, added some humor and other interesting antidotes to create some very enjoyable reading ( Of course Jarrett provided most of the material ). I,ve read many books I felt were good but, honestly, couldn't remember much about it soon after I had completed it. I can recall many incidents from your book. I'm also impressed by the obvious amout of research you put into this project ( Fern Thorn would be proud of you )
I gave you a ten rating but you know I'm a little bit biased.
A remarkable story about an inspirational child. Thank you for sharing this story with everyone. The free preview was enough to compel me to read the book. Good luck to you Mr. Bartlett. This is a story that must be told. I look forward to reading the entire story.
