It was April 1991, spring in the Arkansas Delta, winter crops were already in the ground and at 3:47a.m. Caroline Cobb was being interrogated at the Trumann Police Department about the death of her husband. A special investigator from the Arkansas State Police Dpartment had been called in to conduct her interrogation. It is stadard procedure in samll towns for the Arkansas State Police to be called when police or emergency service providers are involved in felony investigations.
