My wife and I wrote this book to document our life due to the economy, in a small 26 foot travel trailer. I added a great deal of extra conveniences and upgrades to make our life more livable.
I used my background as a automotive technical writer and adult education teacher to make the book easier to understand. It is the first in series books of we have planned. It The book has a lot of colored pictures and detailed instructions. It is published on high quality paper and can be considered and coffee top book. I talk about outdoor cooking and living in southern Arizona with modified outdoor oven. We have also planted a nice table top garden. This book is a must read for new RVers and very informative for long-termers.

It can be a winter project for a person going to a warmer area of the country like Arizona. It can also be a viewed as a hobby for the husband that wants to keep busy and out of his wife’s hair while she visits and works on her hobbies like sewing, greeting card making, puzzles, or any other craft work. There are two things that I have to caution you about one is it can be somewhat disruptive and the other is it can be addictive. The first issue has to be sold to the wife, the second one is up to the hubby who keeps looking around the rig and putting up post-it’s to show his next project. You may have to take small vacation away for you RV to rest from the hobby-work. It will be well the worth the effort you put on it to the improvements in the ease in living and the bragging rights you will have at the clubhouse gatherings. I know my wife and I have enjoyed the enhancements. I even added a chapter on setting up an inexpensive portable solar system for your RV. Enjoy, happy camping! There is more to come. I am planning to write more books on this subject. As I make more improvements and document them.
