"I kept telling him that I still only loved only him and no one else.
Of course I did not but was doing and saying anything possible to keep us all alive. I started walking down the hallway and he stopped in front of me. As he stared at me not saying a word, the fear in me was growing. I then saw him pull out the .357 magnum pistol.
All that kept going through my head is that he was going to shoot me and my children would wake up. They would have to come down stairs to my guts splattered on the wall. Possibly that of my friend’s also.
I asked him to please take me outside and not do this with my children in the house. I reminded him he was a father."
