At the Skylight with Matilda is a delightful read for the young adult and women of all ages. Because of the many requests to learn more about Matilda,I decided to write this second book. Like the reader, I too have become attatched to her life. Most of all, the characters that surround her seem real and you will gravitate toward them, too. Enjoy!

What's going on with Matilda now?
Matilda has flown home to London to care for her mother who has been hurt. Matilda tells the children she will return in two weeks. Attatched to Matilda, they are upset she is leaving, even though it will be a short time. Matilda dislikes the damp London flat where her nmother resides.
Meanwhile, Matilda has become engaged to Mark Rosen who helps run the family's hotel in Miami, Florida.
Matilda's family and her best friend are shocked because Matilda has only known Mark for one week and has constantly stated she will never marry.
Neither can understand this cahnge in Matilda.
