Love is simply meaning in spit of.
It means unconditionally.
Not happy all the time, but willing.
Love in spit not working all the time, but trying.
Not subjective all the time, but praying.
Sometimes hard, but manageable.
Sometimes unlikeable, but loving.
Sometimes unpleasant, but careing.
Love is love, in meaning God.
God loves us in spit of our unhappiness, don't want to work with him, unsubjective, hard headed, unlikable at times and unpleasant selves.
Love is special, tender and true.

Maxine King writes with very deep feelings that I myself have experienced in and out of relationships with people throughout life. She has a unique way of soothing the reader even if she writes about things that were full of conflict and drama which were never resolved. I find it soothing to read this book whenever there is no one for me to talk to about my own perceptions. Maxine has lots of common sense about life, yet she shows a sensitivity that I appreciate and enjoy tremendously. Her humanity is very down to earth and gives me the kind of warm company I crave from a book like this. Both men and women will love this collection and feel humanized after reading Maxine's words.
