Being gracious takes courage because most of the time we tend to take for granted even the most obvious occurrence in our lives. Just like we only realize the importance of a good health when we finally get sick, we don’t usually take time to think about things that are meaningful to us. Angie set the tone in this area by counting her blessings in her book entitled: “My Grateful Book”. Angie’s book is a reminder of how meaningful the simplest action in our lives can be. If the “My Grateful Book” is not a literary masterpiece, its content at least shocks and leaves a lasting effect to our senses. By reading My Grateful Book, I come to realize how ungrateful I have been for not paying attention to things closer to my heart. I really miss saying thank you to mom, my friends, and my neighbors and above all to my GOD. I just want to say thank you to Angie for reminding me how important it is to be grateful.
