Inspirational, Well Written
After buying the book 'On Borrowed Time With Interest', I found it hard to put down. It has been a while since I've read a book that could peak my interest like this one. I had originally purchased the book for someone close to me (who is a struggling alcoholic), but upon reading the book myself, I have found motivation to change some things in my own life. I found it wonderful that the author was able to share such personal experiences to help others. This book will help anyone, who is struggling to achieve their dreams, to not give up hope in reaching them. I will now give the book over to my friend to read and have the confidence they will find the inspiration they need to turn their life around. I also agree with the previous reviewer, Joe, on the subject of a film being made. I'd Like to see that !

YOU MUST READ THIS BOOK!!! REQUIRED if you are human!.
This book is incredible. Everyone should be required to read it to expand their humanity. It is not a book just about disability or alcoholism.... it is so much more. Mr. Kearney captures the essence of life here. This book expands your vision into what it is truly like to live as a complete fully capable person with a disability not a disabled person. As one with a disability, I must say, it is one of the finest books written and clearly illustrates how we all have challenges, we just have different approaches to meet and grow through them. If you read this book with open eyes and mind you will be surprised to see how many people experience disabling conditions. This is a fine psychological study into life and our impact on each other. Mr. Kearney clearly illustrates the courage and honor of the human spirit. This book is one that should be in everyone's home. This book is esp. recommended for adolescents, disabled, those who care about the disabled, alcoholics, anyone who cares about people and understanding them better. This should be required reading in high school too. As a health care professional, I would also recommend this to those of you out there who seek increased insight into your patient 'patients'. Do get this book, you will not be disappointed. There is so much depth. Enjoy!
