The sun was starting to set and people were preparing to leave. Kay moved from the yard to the porch, which was clouded in smoke from burning rags in buckets, seeking refuge from the mosquitoes. It was going to be a long summer without Reginald. Walter came by to tell her he was seeing someone but that they owed it to themselves to see where things could go. Kay declined and wished him luck with his girlfriend.
The telephone rang at precisely five-thirty. Kay answered it.
“Hello, may I speak to Kay?” The voice didn’t sound familiar so Kay decided quickly to make the call short, “This is she.” She said in the most bored tone she could muster. The voice replied, “Hello She, this is He.” And it was with that familiar phrase that Reginald Anthony Billings re-entered Kay’s world.

I just finished the book today and I wanted to let you know...
Well you wanted honest feedback. I loveeeeeeeeeee the book. A writer looks for all of the elements that's needed to create and write a story and you had all of them. It was fun and scary journey with Kay because you created a world where one minute it looked like she would have what she wanted (Reginald) and then in some cases it looked like she lost what she wanted.... it gave you the reason to be nervous for her and sad for her but then it was so realistic...because it made me go back to when I was a teenager and I remember feeling the same way she did with my first boyfriend... I was laughing so hard girl.. but yeah I could not see anything that needed tweaking or anything because I even looked at it from a screenwriter standpoint and what I like was that you show the location and the places and I was able to see everything in my mind as you wrote it... I saw VA and the scene in my mind when Kay went back to her grandfather's house during the summer it was so real... where everybody was catching up with everyone. Kay's reminiscing was nicely done because I never got mixed up; I knew when she was dreaming and when it was her reality... and current life with Dave.
Soooooooooooooo I have to say it was nicely done!!! I definitely want to read it again when you publish it!!
