Great book that would leave wanting more
The Mpire is a book that you definitely can't stop reading. You'll end up engulfed in the world of the main character and travel all of his obstacles by his side. Wonderful imagery.
Not your everyday story line--but a definite page turner!
The book was very captiving, with so many unexpected twist! I loved the combonations of the different religions, and all the complexity of the main character... I recommend this book to anyone who's looking for something outside of the norm.

In the first book of the trilogy Mpire, In Search of the Lost, we are taken into the life of Mallory Towneson Haulm. He’s handsome, runs a very successful business and is irresistible to women. He’s lived his whole life trying to prove he’s not as worthless as his father makes him feel. After being separated from his family for years, he’s been asked to come back home and help the family business. They need him to complete the circle and make the family stronger. He reluctantly agrees, which throws him back into the family fighting with some brothers, bonding with others, and still afraid of his father. The closest person to him, that helps him feel invincible, is his half brother, Matthew. He had actually befriended Matthew while they were in school Oxford, not knowing they were related. They built a relationship that made old feelings surface when they are reunited again after many years. Family secrets are uncovered as Mallory is forced to remember his life before Oxford, the life he worked hard to forget. He slowly learns his life and the help needed in the family business really isn’t for the business they have structured for the outside world to see. They have deeper things going on in their family and Mallory is needed to complete what their family has done for decades. In Search of the Lost if a wonderful read. The writing is so vivid, I could actually see the scenes described. If you’re interested in stories about good and evil, heaven and hell, this is a must read. I’m anxiously looking forward to the next book to come out to see how the story unfolds from where it left off. Great job to the author for starting with an explosive introduction to the trilogy!
There are only a few books that I would have to say are my favorite and 'MPIRE' is only that list. The book will have you wanting more. I love the characters in this book. GO READ IT!!!
