Published author Michael Maxfield, born in London, Ontario, Canada, has written 60 heartfelt and thought-provoking poems in Sky Black on Windowpane (available in full-colour trade paperback or pdf download). Maxfield's poems center around awkward relationships and are thematic of love turned to obsession and love that is androgynous. Character based poems range from an ex-fire-fighter, traumatized soldier, lonely physicist, the mentally disturbed, to a Middle Eastern boy secretly wishing for peace in his war-torn country.
