Returning to his apartment, he changed into jeans, a chambray work shirt, and sneakers. He had no idea what tramping out he might have to do when he got to Woodbridge. One idea that appealed to him was to enter the apartment and leave it open. Then he would exit and hide in the woods off to the side where he would have a good view of the outside entrance.
The more he thought of that option, the more he liked it. If the stalker showed up and entered the apartment, and there was only one entrance, he could just wait until the stalker came back outside and nail him.
Yes, that might be the best plan of all. Less risk and a better chance of capturing the man. And while Dun didn't want to admit it even to himself, he hoped the stalker tried to run so he could try out his new hollow-point bullets.
