Lena Hunter is not under the influence of drugs, nor is she out of her mind when she aims a pistol at her grandmother’s heart and seals her fate by pulling the trigger. She might very well think about her actions later and wish that she had done things differently, but the fact that the old woman is dead is her one true victory.
