She’s around.” “Nope, it’s just me.” He struggled to move his right arm and then his left. When that failed he started with his feet. If she could stop him in his tracks with a mere flick of her wrist, he could only imagine what other things she would do to him. Nothing seemed to work her power so he turned to the only thing he could do. Bide some time. “So, what are you two up to?” The Defiler placed the Dark Curse tablet on Maris’ chest. “You know exactly what we’re doing and if you’ve come to stop it, you’ve wasted your time. There is no stopping this. Once Limbo is opened and vulnerable, it won’t take long for the Pure Deamhan to leave.” “What about that whole ‘Limbo must always have eight bodies for it to remain stable’ stuff?’ What happens when there aren’t eight bodies?” “I’ll tell you what happens.” Krerina smiled. “Limbo goes ‘boom’ and ceases to exist.” “Hmm, sounds like a win-win for you both,” he replied. “Let’s just say you win? What then? You’re going to grab hands and walk into the sunset? Are you going to create a whole another species? The heat intensified and when it reached an unbearable level, he grunted in pain. A cloud of darkness opened up directly behind Krerina. He expected Sia to step out and interrupt her but instead, four vampires jumped out of the mist and tackled her to the ground. Another cloud of darkness appeared near Maris’ feet and another to his left. More vampires stormed out of the murkiness and into battle. This tested the extent of Krerina’s power. Unable to hold onto him any longer, Remy felt his body loosen. Now freed from her dark magic, he went to attack her but someone from behind held onto him. “No.” Sia ordered. “We must get Maris.” “You go get her! I have someone I need to kill.” While the vampires tangled with The Defiler, he headed directly for Krerina. His target remained by the altar, fighting her way through a plethora of vampires who surrounded her like bloat flies feasting on the dead. She used her magic against them in any way possible; pushing them back and snapping their necks. Just when the horde thinned, more came to replace those who fell in the fight. They kept coming until the point that the air filled with the scent of blood and death. Krerina easily ripped through her attackers like fresh pieces of meat.

Love this Deamhan world!
Once again I have been sucked into the Deamhan world thanks to this amazing work from Isaiyan. Divination is just as dark and gritty as the rest of The Deamhan Chronicles before. Each one is a edge of my seat nail bitter and Divination is no exception. I have definitely been intrigued with the series and the imagination of this author. Always keeping me waiting to see what she'll come up with next for these characters.

In Divination, which is book 4, Deamhan are on the run or in hiding since one of the Pure Ones, Amenirdis, has been set free. But she's not the only threat keeping everyone away from Minneapolis. The Defiler is wrecking havoc against any Deamhan she comes across without breaking a sweat. With Amenirdis wanting to free the rest of Pure Ones, the Deamhan have no other choice but to head back to the city and stop her before it's too late. Alliances will be made and secrets will be revealed. They will all do whatever it takes for the Deamhan to survive and to protect Maris, who's a key factor to it all.

This is a must read. Once you start, you won't want to put any of these books down. I can't wait for the next one! It's easy to get hooked and feel like your a part of the Deamhan world. These amazing characters come to life and make you wish they were real.

Who can you trust?
With the Dark Mother wanting to release the rest of the pure ones, there's another enemy they have to worry about, the Defiler. But who is she? Anastasia struggles with the pull to join the Dark Mother again but even though she doesn't want to will she be able to resist? Ayden found a supposed Kashshapu, but with everyone claiming that they're extinct, is Krerina really who she says she is? And when Nathan decides to reach out to the Brotherhood after all this time, Lenore answers the call. But who is she? Ayden claims she's not human, so is she one of the good guys? Another great story, I'm hoping there is a book five in this series because there are a few characters I want to know what fate lies for them as well as their true intentions!

The saga returns and delves in deeper. Who to trust? Its never a clear picture. I do trust Remy...haha no its not because he's super hot and funny. He's made the most sense at least to me. He's definitely unorthodox in his methods but he's more trustworthy than the others. I am recanting my opinion of Anastasia. What is WRONG with that girl? I mean I get its kinda her but not her but still. She just annoyed me! This series is straight up addictive. Its no over...not by a long shot in my opinion. Time will tell when we get what she puts out next! Awesome job!
