In Morgana’s Revenge, Gay Ingram has created a heroine who knows the odds are against her but who doesn’t mind the thought of fighting back. She may lose. She may lose it all. But Morgana wants answers. She needs answers. Who started the fire that ravaged her home? Who killed her parents? Why was she left to die? Why didn’t she die? Do those with unknown names and unseen faces still want her dead? And why has she been given the chance to right a terrible wrong against her and her family.

Morgana is offered a job with a special investigative unit although she has no idea what her assignment will be. It doesn’t take long to find out. Posing as private tutor in Manor Oaks, she discovers a scrapbook filled with clippings about the death of her parents. She doesn’t have all the answers. But she’s closer to them than ever before. Morgana has the incriminating evidence she needs in her hands. But will she live long enough to bring the killers to justice?

The resolution of the conflict, unfortunately, is a little too easy and inevitable. Gay Ingram has written a gripping concept but a predictable story, and she works hard to make sure that the ending is as happy and gratifying as you want it to be. And perhaps that’s the way it should be.

Fast read that will leave you with a smile.
Morgana's parents are killed in a fire and she is recruited to help investigate a man that may be in league with a murderous group. She agrees and hires on as a nanny for this man's three step-children. The children have a slight stereotypical feel, with a boy genius, a pouty girl, and a baby boy who loves everyone, however the solutions Morgana comes up to deal with them ring true. The situation is a bit contrived and I can't see what good Morgana ever really does in her position. The end seems forced and just a little too convenient. But so what, this is a feel good book.

What I believe makes this book, and comes out as Ms. Ingram's best feature, is the sweet romance between Morgana and the emotionally scarred brother of the villain's wife. It is well done, builds gently and realistically, and just makes you sigh at the end. It almost has a Beauty and the Beast feel. Everything is resolved neatly at the end and life is perfect for the characters leaving the reader very satisfied.
Overall this book is an enjoyable read, perfect for a cold winter evening.

Gay Ingram took me on a ride that enticed me to the end with "Morgana's Revenge. I was planning on taking this book on the plane to read, but once I started reading it, I couldn't put it down until the last page. Gay Ingram is a talented and gifted writer. I can't wait to read more of her books!
