Although continents sometimes separate the two women, their strong bond of friendship remains.

I really enjoyed this book
I really enjoyed this book. It has a fast paced timeline, I wouldn't have minded it a little slower. It was easy and quick to read. I never would have guessed the ending.
Intriguing and Inspirational
The intriguing and inspirational story of two strong-willed women who form a strong friendship in high school. Their lives twist and turn in different directions for several years, then their bond is tested by an unexpected turn of events.
The point of view switches between Blanche and Miriam in separate chapters, making their stories easy to follow. Ingram’s tight writing style makes for a fast paced, enjoyable read. One slightly explicit sex scene and one suggestive, but neither were overdone.
An inspirational tale of friendship
This book painted a wonderful picture of friendship over the years with two very different people. I could not wait to see how each traveled through their lives in each chapter. I found myself experiencing the joy, sadness, and anger throughout the whole book! I loved that there were a couple of surprising twists!
