100 years and still going strong
written by Harold Begbie, and republished here by Tuchy Palmieri is a very inspirational book that will touch the lives of everyone who reads it. Follow along as Frank Buchman, known as FB, changes the lives of many around him through free will and Christianity. His teachings have become the basis for many highly successful 12-step programs in use today.

This book has a very powerful message that still have great relevance in society today. Regardless of the fact that the original printing of this book occurred over a hundred years ago, readers will still find it inspiring.


Another early read for AA members
After reading this book, I can see why early members of A.A. read it. The early members were constantly trying to help others with the same problem that they had. Dr. Bob worked with a minimum of one alcoholic a day until his death. Bill Wilson constantly thought of ways to improve the fellowship of AA to make it the best for the most. This book shows that the principles that AA lives by were not created for A.A., but adopted from universal principles that have been around for years. This book has strengthened my belief that "You can't keep it without giving it away". The main theme of "Twice born men" is to show that once a conversion, or spiritual experience, happens in an individual, a constant effort to share it with others, through helping them to find the same experience within thenselves, is the only way to keep the light burning within themselves. Great book for anyone who does 12 step work, or is interesting in starting. If your sober for a time now, and you still feel as though something is still missing, read this book and get to work trying to help others. The inside joy, peace, and usefullness that you will experience is beyond verbal discription. "Faith without works is dead".
