I initially began collecting quotes from Salada tea, finding that their words of wisdom, humor, and common sense that spoke to me. Soon I began to write down into a pocket sized note book the tag lines that I felt were import for me to remember and integrate into my life. Many years later I found that I was carrying around nine of these bound pocket sized books in my pant pocket. I can honestly say that they molded my character, cemented my principles and led to my current values. The collection became an often needed source to guide me in expressing myself and in my journey through life. After many years of reading and reciting them, I began to question some quotes and often saw the reverse of what was quoted. Intermingled with quotes from many sources were my own personal quotes. My personal quotes often took the form of contrarianisms or expansions on popular quotes. In 2005 I began in earnest to publish the quotes that I had collected and written. Later they were followed up with books on relationship, money, sex and intimacy, success, recovery, and family. Quotes to Live, Love, and Laugh By is a collection of quotes regarded by many as the most impactful. The purpose of this collection is to lay out words to make a difference in many aspects of the reader’s life. May one or more of these words make a difference in your life. The opportunity to make a difference in one’s life is the source of my greatest pleasure.
