Author Nickolaus Pacione reissues his second collection that wasn't that well promoted on lulu.com. Now back online and revised edition.
Well I am going to speak some about the short stories in this collection -- the reason I removed three chapbooks from sale on here because they are dead links. But the good news is you can get them in this collection. Terry Vinson asked me when I was going to do a follow up to Collectives In A Forsaken Landscape. Well in 2006 this follow up was low key because I didn’t have an ISBN for the book. But here it is with a bonus story, An Urban Gothic Tale (different from Brian Keene’s Urban Gothic.) You have your horror stories -- your ghost stories, literary fiction works, and science fiction. This one changes things up quite often. The novellas are the stories that are semi-exclusive to the collection as there were 15 stories originally now you see an introduction that is a letter to a deceased classmate who didn’t understand why I have the mystique I tried to keep. An Eye In Shadows will have a sister book in form of an anthology as this one will. They are both almost done as this is redesigned and with a white and blue cover. You want weird fiction this will deliver the goods and it is 200 pages of horror, science fiction, and literary fiction -- a diverse plethoa of written works to choose from. Some of the stories will have the mainstream readers realizing my underground following remains present and keeps their edge. If you found Collectives In A Forsaken Landscape and Metascape, or Dirty Black Winter way too dark -- there are some stories that are very dark in this collection. But this is not all very dark -- some stories are very quirky in this one. This is noted for Norwood's Discovery, Halloween On Camera, Lake Fossil III, and The Storms Of Armageddon. I hope AuthorsDen.com approves of me taking those stories down to replace it with this.
