The Loped Earred Bunny

The Loped Earred Bunny came out of his hole, on a bright sunny day ready to face spring.

Spring has sprung he said as he noticed all the other babies in the woods coming out of their homes too.

He wanted to play with the other animals but, anytime he tried to hop or move he would flop down over his ears and on the ground.

All the other animals thought it was funny and they laughed and laughed and laughed at him.

The loped earred bunny felt upset and embarrassed about his ears, so he decided to walk away.  He tried to hide his face in emarrassment and hung his head low.

Nothing more to do for the loped earred bunny as he sat on a nearby log watching the other animals playing happily.  He sat there with a sad face wondering what he could do.  Then he decided to take a walk, as  he walked down the path towards the pond.

The bunny found things were different and the animals were too.

First he met a bull frog, Hi little frog what is wrong.  No boby wants to play with me because I croak louder than them.  Well that is ridiculous said the Bunny, I will play with you and I don't croak at all so they did play together.

They walked further down the path to the pond when they came across a humming bird, little bird what is the matter, no one wants to fly with me  because, I sing prettier than them.  So they played together.

When they came across a lonely raccoon, what is the matter with you raccoon.  Nobody wants to play with me because I look different than them.  We'll play with you, were heading to the pond want to come. 

So they made a pack to be friends now and forever and to be friends to all who is different.

So they expanded on their little group until it got so big, that it got back to the other animals that treated them differently, and they wanted to join the group as well.

So they did!
