I consider myself a poet wearing many guises, I write romantic poetry of the entertainment of the fair sex, poetry about people and every day life and of course, humour. I am always looking out for new jokes which can be turned in to poetry, especially when I can put a good punch line at the end. My friends and well wishers email me many jokes, or ring me up and enjoy telling me the latest they have heard, often giving me the idea for my next poem. When I receive phone calls inviting me to read to their groups some emphasise strongly that the ladies would like some romantic poems, but also request that I bring along a good collection of humorous poems as well.
