Insight, humor, help, and hope for those living with an anxiety disorder and the people that know and love them.

Because of my 20+ years of personal experience with panic attacks and Agoraphobia I wanted to share my journey, both failures and successes, so that others could acquire helpful insight.  I wanted to share some of my personal struggles and thoughts as I learned about this life disruptor that affected not only me but every relationship I had.    Most importantly I wanted others to know that they are not alone and that an anxiety disorder is a part of their life...it's not who they are.

Having an anxiety disorder can often feel like living life from within a restricted cocoon of fear, isolation, and darkness.  It can feel as though life is going on all around you.  This book is about helping people to rediscover themselves - the person that has been buried within the anxiety for so long.  It's to help them reclaim themselves and their lives; to change from within and break free.  To emerge.

Because of my personal experiences and my heart's desire to help and reach other anxiety disorder survivor's I have written my first book Emerging Butterfly:  Finding Life Beyond Anxiety Disorders.  It is my hope that others will also break free and emerge into life completely changed, find their winds, and fly!
