A love story about a young woman she fell in love with a Sudanese man but end up marrying a man she did not want to be with in the first place, however, what happened after, she could not believe it herself!
There are three main characters, or protagonists, in the book. Camilla Young, aged 20-21 is the narrator. It's from her part that the story is told. Narcis (26), is a very handsome Sudanese man. The man can sometimes be selfish, often pretending to be such, as well as not noticing this character trait. Daniel is a tall handsome blond man who Camilla meets at one of the parties given by her parents. The book begins (and ends) with Narcis looking for Camilla in her house and Camilla's mother calling the girl and informing her about that. Since that very moment, the whole story is somewhat a flashback of what has happened before the Sudanese man coming into Camilla's house. However, much she loves Narcis, as he urges her to run away to Sudan with him, she refuses and tell him she will be with Daniel, mainly because……! Well, read the book to find out why!

The sweet words never stopped during our few early meetings. Falling in love was never in my mind, neither did I believe in it. In fact, when a friend of mine told me recently that she was in love with a man she met at her work, I laughed and said to her "grow up, there is no such thing, people just fool themselves when they say they are in love, because they want to be loved, that is all to it".
Even now I still question myself, was I really in love with him or was I right all along that falling in love is just a trick of the mind or, as they say, trick of the heart?
